Rutgers Preparatory School in Somerset, New Jersey, is a coeducational day school for students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. Located in Somerset, the school enrolls students from diverse geographic, economic, social, and ethnic backgrounds. The metropolitan area of Central New Jersey, nearby Rutgers University, and accessibility to New York City offer students additional educational and cultural experiences.

The school fields 33 sports teams with approximately 80 percent of students participating in some form of organized athletics on the Middle School, junior varsity, or varsity level. 1+4 Pathways Program
Rutgers Prep 1+4 Pathways Program allows international seniors to prepare for an American university experience. All curricula are focused on transitioning to the university environment at the end of the year. Coursework is paired with the required studies during the first year of university to prepare the students to take advantage of all opportunities available in the university. Students in the 1+4 program are ready for the highest level of success when they enter the university.
